(TeaParty.org) – While on Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show, Judge Roy Moore, Republican candidate for the Alabama Senate seat, proclaimed his innocence in the face of allegations that he sexually pursued several teenage girls in his mid-30s that surfaced after a Washington Post smear piece.
He also followed up that statement with another announcement: he has his own team performing an investigation into the WaPo report, and they already have obtained evidence of “collusion” that would prove the allegations are fabricated, reportsBreitbart.
“If you step aside for any allegation, then you might as well not run because when you run you’re going to get allegations,” said Moore, after Hannity asked him to respond to the long list of establishment Republicans calling for him to step aside from the race.
“First, I would tell these individuals they wouldn’t make good judges. They wouldn’t make good people in the judicial system because you are innocent until proven guilty. In this case, this woman has waited over 40 years to bring a complaint four weeks out of an election? It’s obvious to the casual observer that something is up. We’re also doing an investigation and we have some evidence of some collusion here but we’re not ready to put that to the public just yet.”
It isn’t immediately clear what Moore means by “collusion,” but if what he says is true, it’s going to put a sock in every RINO hack’s mouth for good.
Next, Hannity pressed with a further question, whether Moore were out to try and “prove” his innocence. Moore gave a reply that must have instantly grown another tumor in John McCain’s brain:
“Well, just like you said, they’re doing it to defeat this senate campaign. They’re bringing something, they’re trying to mix something up from other girls that never said anything about sexual impropriety and they’re all labeling it on this 14-year-old. I had nothing to do with this. This is a completely manufactured story meant to defraud this campaign. They’re losing. They’re 11 points behind. They don’t like my acknowledgment there is a God. We’ve refused to debate them because of their very liberal stance on transgenderism and transgenderism in the military and bathrooms. They’re desperate. Sean, they’re simply desperate.”
Democrats are desperate, and they’re losing. Maybe their smear attacks work on GOP establishment swamp monsters like Gillespie in Virginia, but they’re not going to do diddly squat against a true patriot like Judge Roy Moore.
There’s another shocking detail that puts a dent in the political establishment’s war against Moore:
According to a report by WHNT News, Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill said that Moore’s name has already been printed on the ballots, and many voters have already cast absentee ballots for the candidate.
Simply put: there’s nothing that the Republican Party can do to remove Moore’s name from the ballot, although they can encourage a write-in campaign.
